The University of Pittsburgh is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Our camps take place in the Petersen Events Center, Fitzgerald Fieldhouse, Petersen Sports Complex, Charles L. Cost Center, or UPMS Sports Complex facilities.

What are the age limits for the camps?
All camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade or gender. Please refer to each camp registration for additional information.
Who are the coaches/counselors?
Coaches and counselors are Pitt Athletic Department Coaches and Student-athletes. In some occasions coaches from other institutions are hired to work camp. All Camp employees have met the Pennsylvania State clearance requirements.
What is the difference between residential and commuter camp?
If you register for a camp that is residential, the participant would stay overnight in our dorms for the entirety of the camp. Commuter campers still participate in a similar camp format, but do not stay on campus for the camp.
What is the processing fee?
5% of the cost of the camp registration
What is the policy for refunds or cancellations?
Pitt Sports Camps do not offer any refunds. There are a few exceptions, please email email@example.com
Payment is required before the start of the camp. You can register online and pay there or you can pay at check-in for the camp.
Who supervises the overnight campers?
Coaches and camp councilors stay in the dorms with the campers and supervise them.
Do you take roommate request?
Yes we do. When you fill out the registration sheet for the overnight camp, you can provide us with the name of another participant you would like to room with. We cannot promise you will get your request filled, but we will do our best to make both parties happy.
What should my camper bring to camp?
Each Camp has its own camp requirements for what you should bring. Can be found online within the camp registration. Also, be on the lookout for Camp Registration packets that will be emailed to you 1 week prior to camp beginning.
When and where do I drop off my camper on the first day of camp?

What should I do if I am running late or will miss the camp’s check-in?
Each camp has its own guidelines regarding spectators. Please refer to your Camp Registration packet for additional information.
What is the Tax ID number for camps?
Is there different options for children with food allergies?
If the camp provides food for the event, there are a number of food options to choose from for the camper. If your child has a food allergy, please be sure to list this information in the medical history portion of the registration.
Is there a concession stand for food or water during the camp?
There are not any concession stands available for food or water. Water and Gatorade is provided at each location for camps. Refer to the camp registration for information on food for lunch, whether it is provided or if it is bring your own.
Where can I park for the camp?
There are two options for parking. The first would be the OC lot, located next to the Cost Center. The cost for the OC lot is $7 during the week and $3-5 on the weekends. The other option is parking on the street.
